Bunny Who Found Easter
Published in Library Binding by Bt Bound (October, 2001)
Authors: Charlotte Zolotow and Helen Craig
Average review score:

Excellent book with lots of warm fuzzies
We just love this book! I'd recommend this book in a heartbeat! Its a little long for my 22 month old daughter, but my 3 and 1/2 year old son just loves it. Its a great story with lots of warm fuzzies that teaches a deeper, more important meaning of Easter without any religious overtones. Grade: A+

But Not Billy
Published in Hardcover by Harpercollins Juvenile Books (September, 1983)
Author: Charlotte Zolotow
Average review score:

Sweetest Children's Book You Will Ever Read
Published in 1947, my birth year, the sepia toned illustrations easily rival "Make Way for Ducklings". A long remembered jewel recently reacquired. This story will pull your heartstrings and remind you that all those sleepless nights and hours of parenting have their unique rewards. You'll recognize yourself and your baby on these pages. Find it if you can, demand a reprint!

Cassell¿s German & English Dictionary
Published in Paperback by Cassels (01 September, 1986)
Authors: H.-C. Sasse, J. Horne, and Charlotte Dixon
Average review score:

For fast, easy reference and comprehensive listings
There are over 35,000 entries. That is just the right amount for a portable dictionary. This was originally used for a German class. Now I use it to interpret German subtitles in silent movies. There is a table in the back of "German Irregular verbs" and another for "English irregular verbs."

A classic!
A sweet little chair book I bought from the Tate Modern and really enjoyed it. Most of the chairs from known architects... A book for your office table.

The Chalk Doll
Published in Library Binding by Bt Bound (October, 1999)
Authors: Charlotte Pomerantz and Frane Lessac
Average review score:

Chalk one up for the Chalk Doll !
I live in the Caribbean and am starting a Caribbean book collection for my kids. I really liked this book because it wasn't just another very colorfull book, it had a moral to the story. It is about a mother telling her little girl about the kind of doll she had when she was a child and how much she loved it because she made it with her own hands. It teaches a child the meaining of self gradification.

Change of Heart

Average review score:

my absolute favourite book!!
The way in which Fate brings together Fleur and Freddie is absolutely - wonderful!! The touch of mystery, music and society - and especially LOVE, makes Change of Heart one of the most read books on my bookshelf. A MUST read for any music and romance lover...

Charles Rennie Mackintosh: (1868-1928) (Big Series)
Published in Paperback by TASCHEN America Llc (July, 1999)
Authors: Charlotte Fiell and Peter Fiell
Average review score:

Taschen excellence!
As usual Taschen gives good value! This was the first book I read about C. R. Mackintosh, which is indeed an amazing character, and one of the initiators of modernism. I ended up travelling to Glasgow to see some of Mackintosh fascinating interiors and buildings. Go there! The book is easily read, with gorgious pictures, and a good introduction. By the same authors, I also recommand "20th century design", which I believe is going to be published in the States in a short while.

This was about my great-great-great grandmother .
This book had an interesting description of the time- loyalists vs. patriots. This is a true story.

Charlotte and Claudia keeping in touch : a novel
Published in Unknown Binding by Key Porter Books ()
Author: Joan Barfoot
Average review score:

For every woman with a best friend
Joan Barfoot has touched the heart of every woman with this wonderful story of two women, best friends all their lives now facing old age from different perspectives. One widowed after a long marraige to a less than faithful husband, the other never married but often the mistress of other less than faithful husbands. Their journey to themselves and eachother will make you laugh out loud and cry tears of joy. A warm touching read that makes the thought of getting old not so bad as long as you have your best friend.

Charlotte and Emily Brontë : literary lives
Published in Unknown Binding by Macmillan ()
Author: Tom Winnifrith
Average review score:

a classic !
I wonder both how it is that I'm the first to review it and why it has gone out of print! Have we got our senses? This is, by far, the best SHORT "literary live" ever written. A classic in the sense that, being easy to read, every word is important and fits its unique place: you can only add or detract one word off this little marvel so much for the worse. It links beautifully what we KNOW about the life of Emily and Charlotte with their lasting work. Many Brontë students will find that this is enough for them. If not, there is always CHITHAM and GERIN full-scale biographies (and I'm thinking mostly about Emily).
